How to make pesto

Pesto pizza recipe

The pesto pizza, as explained here, is very easy to do; basically you buy the ready made crust and spread with pesto sauce.

1 (12 inch) ready-made pizza crust
1/2 cup pesto
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped in small slices
1 tomato, sliced
1 jar or can halved or chopped black olives, well drained
1/2 small red onion, sliced
1 can artichoke hearts, chopped  and drained
1 cup granulated feta cheese, 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 bocconccini cheese balls, in halves.


Bring oven heat to 450° F (230° Celcius).
First spread thinly olive oil over pizza crust, then spread pesto generously on the pizza crust.
Top with red peppers,  red onions, olives, artichoke hearts, then lay crumbled feta cheese on top.
Finally lay down 4-5 slices of tomato, put a bocconcini half over each one.

Bake in oven for around 10 minutes, until the cheese is nicely browned and melted.

Serves pesto pizza for two.
